About Panel Meetings

The panel board currently consists of eight members who hold a public meeting on a monthly basis at which they review and decide whether to approve or deny funding for a contract (request for funds). The ETP regional field offices develop the contracts in conjunction with the employer and make a recommendation to the panel to approve the contract for a pre-determined amount.

These recommendations are presented to the panel members by the regional office managers and a representative from the employer applying for funding. The employer representative is expected to brief the panel on their industry and company they represent. The panel will take into account prior contract performance in determining approval for repeat contractors.
