Purpose:
The Employment Training Panel in collaboration with the California Energy Commission is excited to announce the availability of up to $2,700,000 in funding in for the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) Fund 2.0 to increase the number of electricians certified through the Electric Vehicle Training Program within California. The purpose of the EVITP Fund is to train and certify electricians to install electric vehicle charging equipment statewide.

Live Support Sessions & Orientation

Orientation: A grant orientation session will be held on July 7, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm PST. This zoom session will present the grant requirements and allow participants to ask questions regarding the solicitation. Registration for the session is required.
