ETP Success Story – Professionals in Human Resources Association

Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to providing business education, networking, and advocacy with an emphasis on the human resources environment. Utilizing ETP funds, PIHRA was able to succession planning training for companies, as well as assisting on implementing training to help develop and promote employees.

“One company that received PIHRA ETP-funded succession planning training focused on identifying high-potential employees. They developed a clear picture of their internal talent and initiated an effective performance-based promotion and incentive program as part of that process. This was perceived as a positive transition from their tenure-based evaluation system. Another company that received PIHRA ETP-funded training had their employees complete process improvement training. As a result, the organization created a “learning center” to help further reduce manufacturing errors and increase product output.
