At the September 2026 Panel ETP approved a total of 64 Apprenticeship projects, representing over $28 million in approved Apprenticeship funding. These investments are projected to support training for over 39,000 Apprenticeship trainees statewide with 63 of the 64 projects supporting the Construction sector.

Governor’s Apprenticeship Initiative:
During the Governor’s tenure (FY 2018‑19 through FY 2026‑27), ETP approved a total of 563 Apprenticeship contracts, representing over $216 million in approved funding. These investments are projected to support training for over 144,000 Apprenticeship trainees statewide, with a total of 76,114 individuals placed.

ETP funding serves as a catalyst for in expanding and strengthening apprenticeship opportunities across California. By funding high‑quality training programs, ETP helps employers develop a skilled workforce while creating pathways for workers to gain industry‑recognized skills and advance in their careers.
