ETP Success Story: Henderson Farms

Founded in 1991 in Arbuckle, Henderson Farms is a full-service farm management company that has been conscientiously caring for almonds and walnut orchards in Northern California since 1982. Utilizing ETP funds, Henderson Farms was able to expand their training and create new pathways for their employees to improve their careers

“We loved working with ETP. Giving employees skills gives them hope and excitement in what they do. One of the best ways to keep and grow excellent employees is by intrinsic motivation. ETP helped give us the resources to intrinsically motivate dozens of individuals which then allows them to take pride in their work and get higher paying jobs either here or elsewhere.

ETP funding motivated us to find experts to bring in and share their knowledge with our teams. We will continue doing that as well as offering certifications that help employees secure higher-paid roles. One of our foremen is about to start a three-month twice a week Spanish-speaking manager training program through the Center for Land Base Learning which will help prepare him for a management role when the opportunity arises.” -Jonnalee Dunn, Growth and Development Manager
