Trainees must earn at least the ETP minimum wage after they complete training and an employment retention period (generally 90 calendar days). The minimum wage varies by calendar year, county of employment, and type of trainee (retrainee or new-hire). Health benefits may be used to meet all wage requirements, subject to Panel approval.
Please note that the 2014 and 2015 Trainee Wage Table has been updated to a more streamlined and user-friendly format. Additionally, some tables have been relabeled. The table previously titled “HUA WAGES” is now titled “REDUCED STANDARD WAGES”, and the table “SET WAGES” has been bifurcated into “STATEWIDE AVERAGE WAGE (SET)” and “REDUCED STATEWIDE AVERAGE WAGE (SET)”.
