ETP Grants

Social Entrepreneurs for Economic Development (SEED) Grant

ETP and the Labor and Workforce Development Agency are pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the Social Entrepreneurs for Economic Development (SEED) Grant.

SEED grants will support the entrepreneurship of immigrants and limited English proficient individuals, regardless of their immigration status, through the provision of micro-grants, training, outreach, and technical assistance to help them launch or sustain a small business aimed at addressing a social problem or meeting a community need.  To foster business innovation and equity, inclusion, and social responsibility, SEED will also include a demonstration project to support the creation and sustainability of worker-owned businesses and cooperatives.

This grant is open to non-profit Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to seek funding to administer SEED.  The deadline to submit a proposal is March 3, 2021 (3 PM PST).

Please refer to the Solicitation for Proposals and all accompanying documents, linked below, for additional information and application instructions.

Proposal Webinars will be held on February 2, 2021 (11 AM PST), and February 4, 2021 (1 PM PST) to answer questions from prospective CBO applicants.  Proposal Webinar details and RSVP will be available on the ETP website on January 26, 2021 (10 AM PST).  Please return back to this website for future updates.
