Health Benefits Capped at $2.50

Effective January 1, 2018: The use of health Benefits will be capped at $2.50 per hour for purposes of meeting the Post Retention Wage – in all contracts. The only exception to this cap is with reliable, verifiable written documentation as to the value of employer-paid Health Benefits. (Note: The Panel will accept a Collective Bargaining Agreement, a contract of employment, or monthly payroll reporting (e.g., paystub) for the purpose of documentation.) The Panel approved this cap at its meeting on September 22, 2017 (see Memo to Panel: Valuation of Health Benefits)
